I do turn it off ever night so every day I have to pull and reinsert the HDMI cable, I also set my power and sleep settings (WIN 10 Pro) to never let the screen or computer sleep and it works fine until the next boot up.

I tried the DVD card output with an appropriate adapter and had the same results. The workaround is to remove the HMDI cable from the back of the PC and plug it back in again.
